I highly recommend the Duke cabin for a stay in the Birmingham and Hoover area. Perfect for a weeklong baseball tournament. Fish in spare time. Easy access to interstates. Very comfortable. Hope to revisit the Duke in the future.

The Duke Cabin was magnificent!!! Everything was smooth from the check in to the cleanliness up until we checked out. The beds were comfortable and being outside was so refreshing! I personally contacted the host and informed her that if I could stay over and over I would because I was highly satisfied of this property.

This property is absolutely darling and perfect for families with dogs. It has a beautiful yard for running around, and a pond in back perfect for a book and glass of wine. This was our second stay and we will definitely stay again.

The cabin was really cool and in a great location. It was clean and cozy. The catch and release pond was amazing. We caught Brim and Bass using nightcrawlers. It was a lot of fun to do that with my daughter. My only complaint was the lack of wash rags, towels, and blankets. The listing says it sleeps 8, which it does with the futon and couch. However, there was not enough extra blankets. There was bed sheets, just not enough blankets. Also, no wash clothes at all, no hand towels, and only a few bath towels and we had a party of 7.
