Located a few minutes walk from Umeyashiki Station, this property is within a friendly neighborhood surrounded with many restaurants, small grocery stores and convenience stores. The property is clean and fully furnished with a kitchen (including a two burner stove, fish grill, sink, dishes and utensils), mini fridge, table, chairs, television, bed, prefabricated bathroom and ample storage.
I was located on the third floor and since there’s no elevator and I was coming in about an hour away from my previous accommodation just as typhoon no. 6 was coming (it hit the same day as check-in), with the staff’s permission, I had my luggage sent a couple days prior and arrive shortly after check-in. The staff was very communicative the whole time and responded very quickly. There’s no Airport shuttle, but the train station is a 3 minute walk away and takes about 20 minutes to get to Haneda Airport, which is convenient if you’re traveling light, or you can call for a taxi and get there in 15 minutes. Getting to Central Tokyo takes about 25 to 40 minutes depending on which station and line you transfer to. The price is very reasonable too.
I highly recommend booking a stay here if you don’t want to be in a densely populated area but can still reach Central Tokyo and Yokohama within minutes and feel relaxed.
