Not happy with presentation of this cottage, that needs LOTS OF TLC to make it better to rent out. NO BEDSIDE LAMPS, 2 CANDLES?NO LIGHT IN TOILETNO WHERE TO HANG CLOTHES SET OF OLD DRAWS, SOME WITH OWNERS THINGS IN THEM.NO MATTRESS PROTECTOR, HAD TO MAKE BED OURSELVES.LINEN HOTCH POTCH OF SHEETS ETC ON SHELVES3 OLD STAINED PILLOWS.NO DISHWASHING LIQUID IN KITCHEN, 2 X EMPTY BOTTLES.GREASEY TRAY IN OVEN.RANGE HOOD FAN NOT WORKING, ONLY LIGHT.2 OLD TEA TOWELS IN DRAW.CUTLERY DIRTY HAD TO WASH BEFORE USE.STEPS DOWN THROUGH THE PLACE NOT CLEARLY MARKED.2 SEATER SETTEE UNDER A COVER WAS VERY STAINED AND DIRTY.FOOD CRUMBS ON TWO DINING CHAIRS.OUTSIDE BACK DOOR TREES OVERGROWN VERY BADLY.ELECTRIC DOOR FOR UNDER COVER CARPORT DID NOT WORK.THEN ON READING THE HOUSE RULES WE ARE ASKED TO STRIP BEDS, WASH BEDDING TOWELS ECT, CLEAN PLACE THROUGH INCLUDING SINKS FOR NEXT RENTERS, AND BE OUT BY 10AM.NO TUMBLE DRIER EITHER.BUT WE PAID 120 CLEANING FEE. THE RULES STATED SHE COULD NOT GET LOCAL CLEANERS, WHICH WE FOUND TOTALLY INCORRECT. WE SPOKE TO MANY LOCALS WHO SAID GETTING A CLEANER WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM, ITS MORE HOW MUCH THE OWNER WAS OFFERING FOR THE CLEANING JOB. I SUGGEST NOT ENOUGH.RULES ALSO STATED IT WAS PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED EVERY 2 MONTHS?ITS NOT BEEN DONE FOR A LONG TIME, FROM GREASE ONTOP OF CONTAINERS IN KITCHEN, TO THE DIRT ON SKIRTING BOARDS IN THE BEDROOM ETC.WE ARE SENIORS WHO HAVE RENTED MANY PLACES, THIS IS THE WORST EVER. PHOTOS TAKEN.

We were scared and disappointed we could not open the back door, so no fire exit.Plus the 3rd bedroom was outside and we had to walk all the way around the building to access this. Walk all the way back to the toilet.Location was fantastic.No wifi, di not think this was worth the price.

Absolute beach front, amazing views looking over Waterloo Bay and the incredible high cliffs with beautiful sunset across the bay. Comfortable shack for family, amazing beach views wonderful especially with families and children.
