Everything was excellent overall. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the property was clean throughout. The bathroom had a slight odor, but it was otherwise well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the fishing during our stay. The host was consistently responsive and available whenever needed.There is a small store and restaurant just a short walking distance away, as well as a Walmart approximately five miles from the property. The kitchen is equipped with a large double-burner hot plate rather than a full oven; however, everything functioned very well.We were so pleased with our experience that we extended our reservation by an additional day, and we look forward to booking again around August. (Real love our stay)

Property has great potential, but fell short because of two key factors. Poor AC in hot Texas weather and boat cleanliness. Original boat AC did not work. Owner installed window unit and small unit near bed. Small unit did not blow cold air only heat. Window unit could not keep boat cool. So unfortunately, we were hot the whole trip. Exterior offered a few deck options. But these had not been cleaned. They were dusty and covered with spider webbs. Expectation is not to have to clean before enjoying amenities on vacation. A simple spray down could have solved issued. Restaurant and store close by was great. Bed was super comfy. Kitchen had minimal items. So we went out to eat entire trip.
