About this apartment rental
I present to you this charming apartment, tastefully renovated in a family home in the pretty preserved village of Le Casset in Serre-Chevalier (Le Casset, a hamlet in the commune of Le Monêtier les Bains located at an altitude of 1500m). Le Casset is immersed in nature and only 5 minutes from the slopes of Serre-Chevalier.
Nature is at your doorstep. Fields and cross-country ski trails are only 50 meters from the house. The village of Le Casset is a true jewel of the valley, preserved from concrete and modern constructions. The mountains surround you and you will only have to put on your shoes to walk the paths at the bottom of the valley or access the hiking trails.
It is a true haven of beauty and a cure for all seasons; winter, spring, summer, autumn. There is something for everyone; walking, hiking, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, cycling (yes we are in the heart of the Tour de France summits; the Col du Galibier, the Col de l'Izoard, the Col du Granon, etc.)
In winter, you can enjoy the pleasures of skiing:
Downhill skiing in the Serre-Chevalier resort (250 km of slopes, culminating at 2700m), 5 minutes by car. Many shuttles serve the departure of the Monêtier les Bains ski slopes (Serre-Chevalier 1500). Walks in the snowy fields and cross-country skiing 50 meters from the house.
We are not in a factory resort, but in a charming mountain village, only 2 km from the ski slopes.
The apartment; 80m² on three levels for 5 people.
Has 2 bedrooms (5 beds), bathroom, separate toilet.
- Ground floor: large bedroom in vaulted room - single bed + double bed (sleeps 3)
- 1st floor: entrance, cupboards, bathroom, toilet, bedroom with double bed (sleeps 2)
- 2nd floor: large room under cathedral ceiling with living room, dining room and kitchen.
Quality furniture, perfectly equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, towel dryer, TV, HiFi, fireplace / wood, ski and bike storage area, etc.)

Please note:
Changes will preferably be made on Sundays (i.e. Sunday to Sunday rental) to facilitate cleaning and your trip to the site.

Car - from Lyon (3 hours), Marseilles (3.5 hours), Turin (1.5 hours), etc.
Train - Briançon train station 15 km away
Plane - Lyon Saint Exupery airports (2h20), Grenoble or Turin (1h30)
