Great location for me and the apartment was spacious (larger than I expected - more below), comfortable, well equipped and clean. Convenient onsite parking, and easy to collect and return the key from the lock-box.
I was given an apartment other than the one shown in the pictures, so this review is probably no help if they actually put you in the advertised apartment. There was no explanation or apology for this. The apartment I got was a two-bed apartment, so loads more room than advertised, with three bathrooms.
Although the cleaning had been diligently carried out, there were some maintenance issues that should have been dealt with:
- one smoke alarm was beeping due to a low battery when I arrived, so I had to remove the battery. No replacement battery was supplied; I would question if this met building /letting regulations for safety
- one bathroom window was broken and wouldn't close, while another had been left open. The apartment seemed to have been vacant for a few days or maybe weeks prior to my arrival, so there were lots of large outdoor moths (ten or so) inside the apartment on my arrival that has to be put out - a pretty horrible task.
- there was also some damage to the walls, and stains on the carpets, particularly in the hall, which was not shown in the pictures (particularly since it was a completely different apartment).
