We spent five nights in the apartment. The living area is comfortable, the bathroom is fine, and the beds are good. Unfortunately, there is no outdoor space, although you can sit right in front of the entrance. Everything needed for a longer stay is provided, the cooking facilities are excellent and the Wi-Fi is good. The steep staircase could be an issue for people with physical limitations. The location in a charming and beautiful village is ideal. Parking was no problem there is enough space a short walk up the road. Loading and unloading is easy, there is enough room to pull over briefly if a parking space isn't immediately available.
There is a dampness problem. It smells musty downstairs and the odor is even stronger inside the kitchen cupboards. Air fresheners and reed diffusers have been placed everywhere, so the issue is clearly known. We advise ventilating the space thoroughly by opening the windows and creating a cross-breeze.

Cosy, clean and a good location for intended walks. It was very charming with all the old beams and quirks to the shapes of the rooms. A lovely welcome gesture on arrival and cosy lighting.
The pictures showed what looked like a real log burner but it was a gas fire that unfortunately didn’t work when we got there. Not a great deal as the cottage was warm with central heating, we just chose the property for a log burner.
