Very centrally located. Very clean and well equipped. Nice and accommodating owner. As a whole , a wonderful experience. Value for money.
Very small common room. But totally ok because we were always sightseeing.

The host and staff were very accommodating and helpful arranging for us to drop off luggage early and have an early check in. They arranged for our transport from and to the airport. They were very communicative even with the language barrier.
We had three elderly people traveling with us. The stairs up to the elevator were a little tricky with no handrail, but we appreciated the elevator.
The location requires some walking up and down the streets that was a little challenging for our elderly group. But the train station was close by which was convenient.
The street and mosque were loud.

Great location and access to tourist spots. Big and spacious. Washing machine was great.
No toaster.

Mar Residence is a great option when visiting Istanbul. It has a great location and you really get a feel for the area. Apartment is small but worked out very well for us. 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. We were really comfortable for our 6 day stay. Host was very welcoming and comms were very good. I would stay there again. Recommended.
Beds are not hotel level but comfortable enough. You can here the guests in the apartment above you but its not a deal breaker. Cutlery is provided and bigger coffee mugs would be a good addition.
