The accommodation itself was charming and combined an authentic character with modern comfort. The room was pleasant, with good-quality bed linen and towels, a table and chairs, a small refrigerator, microwave and capsule coffee machine. The surrounding landscape was beautiful, with wonderful mountain views, including from the small window in the room.
The guesthouse grounds were also attractive, with a natural swimming pond and play facilities for children. Overall, the property has a lot of character and could be a very enjoyable place to stay.
Our late arrival after a severe thunderstorm was not handled very warmly. We had sent a message about the delay but received no reply, and on arrival we felt more like an inconvenience than welcome guests. There was also unnecessary confusion about our third child, although we had informed the property in advance.
The wooden floors creaked extremely loudly with every step, despite guests being asked to remain quiet. Clearer late check-in instructions and better communication would improve the stay.

Logement atypique et agréable, dans les montagnes. La chambre était confortable et un équipement de base suffisant (café, thé, petit frigo) et la salle de bain était grande.
Difficulté à trouver le propriétaire pour récupérer la clé de la chambre lors de notre arrivée.

Thanks! That was a charming stay! The area is lovely and offers a great mountain view. The pool is beautiful, with water from the mountain, and even features a carousel for children. We had a really lovely conversation with the host. I recommend trying Sommerrodeln and visiting Hallstatt.
