Excellent location and very quiet. Parking no problem. Facilities good and place well cleaned.
Sofa in living room stained. One or two lightbulbs need to be replaced.

The cottage was in a great location for what we needed. The bathrooms were lovely and clean and spacious, along with the master bedroom. The cottage seemed to be equipped with everything that would be required for a stay.
Upon arrival the kitchen was covered in ants. We sorted this initially however it turned out to be a bigger issue, with ants continuing to appear in the kitchen area, on the floor of the lounge area, the stone wall in the lounge area and on the sofa. This made it very difficult to make ourselves comfortable and any food and snacks that we had brought with us we had to keep in our car. As we were only staying for one night, arriving early evening and leaving early morning I did not contact the host regarding this. The following day we were attending a family wedding and so contacting the host at that time was not priority.
The main light in the second bedroom was also broken, a lamp had been supplied, however I had read that this was the case in previous reviews so would have expected the issue to have been fixed.
