The pitoresque location in old town, the amenities(toaster, good aircon, microwave, coffee machine), the small attentions of the host:some sweets, coffee, milk,etc.

We stayed in Crete for 6 nights, of which 3 were in Chania and other 3 in in Malia, at Malias essences ฮฮ.
Everything was fine and the studio has everything you need.
We really liked the area and vibe of the studio's location. It's in the old town, where everything is so nice, and we love what we saw and heard from the balcony during both day and night.
We definitely recommend it and hope to return.
If I had to be picky, I would say:
- the lack of a corkscrew ๐ and
- the squeak of the bed ๐
But seriously, nothing to complain ๐๐ป
