Easy check in and good price

A bit aged but reflected in the price

Away from the town centre of Whitby, but close enough for a nice walk. Location is near shops and pubs for eating out if wanted. All kitchen appliances on site for cooking at the cottage. Quiet and secluded. Outdoor area was lovely too.

Bed was slightly uncomfortable the first night but got used to it.

-Lovely place for a one/a couple nights stay. -Had pretty much all items you'd need to use. -Liled seeing the farm Peacocks and Peahens. - Only a 9 minute drive from Whitby town. - Sainsburys, Aldi, B&M at the end of the road.

-How to get key info was wrong and the number to call was 'unable to connect' -No welcome book with instructions -Unable to find outdoor bins for dog poo bags

Location would have been great had it not been for the horrible smell - looks like it’s sat next to water treatment plant which given the weather was hot was not pleasant

The main bed was terrible - the mattress was a very old sprung mattress that jabbed and stuck into your body and transferred any movement - my husband ended up sleeping in the spare single to allow either of us to get some sleep. My son also got several bites on him and on the final morning we found a flea on my husband. The cottage is dated and looks like the bare minimum is done from a cleaning and maintenance point of view to allow it to be let out.
