A friend and I needed a quiet getaway and this place was perfect for it. We originally planned to continue hiking some local trails, but were honestly grateful for the unpredictable stormy weather that gave us a great excuse to stay in and enjoy the cottage. We played Sorry!, cooked a few meals, watched a little Netflix and just caught up. Beautiful view, quiet neighborhood and more space than needed- we didn’t need the bunkhouse with just two of us. The A/C units were needed and appreciated and they had everything we needed in the kitchen. We also really liked the signs and pictures that decorated the cottage. If we stayed longer we probably would have enjoyed making a fire or using the grill, but were content with the stove and microwave, lol We even did a load of laundry, which was great with this late spring heat this week! Thank you for a lovely stay at a great price- I’ve already recommended it to family. Also, I had a couple questions during the stay and Amr was quick to respond- much appreciated. Thanks again!

Eagles Peak was absolutely adorable. We had a great experience. The place was clean, smelled great, and had many good amenities. The bunk house is a converted garage for those with kids, but is very cute! The kitchen has anything you may need. The fireplace was perfect. Everything was amazing!!

The stay was for 3 nights. Our daughter was coming to visit so the location was perfect. But the description was a bit deceiving since the rental is located in a neighborhood instead of in the middle of a forest as suggested. We were in the middle of a heat wave (average temp 93) with NO air conditioning! The grass was knee high and was being cut as our group arrived. The bunk house is a glorified garage with a bunk bed and couch and lamp. No open windows or AC. The portable AC was delivered the second night. The host attempted to contact us but we went exploring and in the mountains WIFI is rare so we didn’t receive notification until that evening. The cleaning lady was soooo helpful and sooo understanding!! She was the one who delivered the unit and her husband cut the grass. The actual HOST was not present and channeled everything through her and she did the best she could do with what was provided to her to get the rental ready. The location was good for us since we live near by but really not in a rustic woods. It was a nice stay BUT the HOST should have been more hands on and take responsibility for the UPKEEP and CARE of this property. The HOST puts tooo much on the cleaning lady instead of hiring a hands-on host to handle any problems that may arise. It would be greatly appreciated if we received at least a partial refund for the inconvenience of the lack of AC for the first and into the second days.
