Spacious room, excellent shower and clean sheets.

The route to the rooms is through very dated corridors and vertiginous stairs..

I had a comfy bed, the place is quite well located near shops on a major road junction just past Bruxelles Midi station. Desk is open pretty much 24H and were very chilled about my settling down, drying out and having a takeaway (as it was a truly spectacular electrical storm and cloudburst when I arrived). the room was comfortable with plenty of space around the beds. I slept fine and had several pleasant nights here. Affordable, acceptable and well located for people of almost any age to explore and enjoy Brussels. Staff were perfectly nice with me and left people alone to enjoy the property. Bottom line is I would return here.

Although I slept fine in the room, you have to have a positive open mind and treat this as a form of 'indoors camping'. The room was shabby but mostly clean (people are coming in and out for flights, trains and coaches all hours of the day and night, which isn't too bad and I was actually one of them). Chill out, have earplugs or headphones and you'll be fine. All I would say is that the bathroom was quite run down and got a touch grotty from time to time and maybe that's an area where the (pleasant and friendly) staff could apply just a little more care (but also stress rules to incoming guests a little more clearly)
