The owners were a wonderful and friendly family. Extremely kind, and were quick in responding to our messages and questions! We met them for the key handover upon arrival. They gave us recommendations on things to do, places to eat and shop around the area. There is an asado grill on the inside which was wonderful. Beds were comfortable, clean, and provided with many blankets for the chilly Tilcara nights. We were also very happy to be staying in Tilcara instead of Purmamarca. We thought the town had more charm, privacy, and character to it. There is a gas station by the entrance of the town (~5 min from this accommodation), there are many kioscos, butchers, vegetable shops, and a supermarket in the town.

We stayed with 10 people, and sometimes the hot water will run out/the gas boiler would turn off and the water would be cold. However, we understand that it is difficult for 10 people to have hot water the whole time while showering so we were not too stressed by this issue. The owners were also extremely helpful in responding quickly and trying to solve the issue.

Excelente ubicación, una casa muy antigua adecuada para 10 personas y ambientada con elementos muy variados como tapices, cuadros, adornos, juegos, mesas, sillas, sillones, hamacas, faroles, veladores y herramientas antiguas típicas del norte argentino, en excelente estado y ordenandos con muy buen gusto, te hace revivir épocas de cuando nosotros éramos chicos y de nuestros abuelos. Estuvimos muy cómodos, con varios espacios para disfrutar, living comedor, pasillo amplio con muy buenos sillones para la lectura, luminosa, patio interior con asador y amplio patio exterior. Excelente y recomendable.

Todo, la ubicación excelente, a 1 cuadra y media de la plaza principal, la cordialidad de los anfitriones, las comodidades de la casa, sus instalaciones, la limpieza, todo excelente. Todos los detalles bien cuidados.

La ubicación, la decoración, la limpieza, el servicio que brinda la casa, las comodidades, todo hace que la estadía sea muy placentera. La próxima visita a Tilcara espero poder alojarme de nuevo ahí.
