About this apartment rental
The garden features a pool, changing room, bathroom, kitchen, and washing machine. The garden and pool are accessible to guests and my family.
The apartment has another room and, fully furnished with five beds, is rented out under the listing “Il Borgaccio—Historic Residence with Garden and Pool in the Center of Spoleto.”
The building’s entrance and the walls of the rooms were frescoed by Moreno Bizzarri, a well-known local painter.
Il Borgaccio is a very quiet street and neighborhood right in the heart of Spoleto. A bar and tobacco shop is 10 meters from the house, and supermarkets are 200 meters away. The bus stop for the train station is in front of the Tigre supermarket. Free parking is available all around within a 100-meter radius.
There are two escalators leading up to the Rocca; the one at Posterna is located 400 meters from the house.
The bathroom doesn’t have a standard bidet, but to the right of the toilet there’s a handheld showerhead that works just as well—if not better—than a bidet, with both hot and cold water. To turn on the water, first use the handle on the wall—where you also adjust the temperature—and then turn on the handheld showerhead. Please be sure to always turn off the faucet on the wall.
We’ve chosen not to iron the bed linens and towels in support of energy-saving initiatives, since the iron is the appliance that consumes the most energy of all; however, everything is washed, sanitized, hung out to dry, and dried naturally.
