Your mileage may vary, but we would not recommend this place or stay here again.

The host was quite responsive to messages, and worked hard to accomodate our check in time due to bad weather on our bicycle trip.

Although the host might have been trying hard, there were several issues that would prevent us from staying here again or recommending it: 1) the main lock that provides security for the suite did not work -- handle fell off -- despite the previous guest also pointing this out, so we did not feel completely safe in the suite, 2) the entrance was hard to find, and felt kind fo wierd and creepy getting into the suite, 3) the apartment itself is very dark and gloomy, and the windows face a large concrete wall so you cannot see the sky at all, 4) the shower looked a bit mouldy, and the shower door leaked, so a shower resulted in a big pool of water that you had to then clean up, 5) the normal check in time appears to not be until very late at 6:00 p.m., which we had to try and negotiate earlier to allow time to cook dinner, clean up, etc., 6) as a previous guest has pointed out, we heard noises and rusting in the kitchen walls - not sure what was causing them, 7) as a previous guest noted, there appeared to be a cat or dog that llives with the owner, so there was quite a bit of cat or dog hair on the furniture.
