We got immediately upgraded to a better room due to availability for no extra cost, which was appreciated.
the hotel has lovely facilities, cute cats and wonderful staff.
Bed was super comfy, and hot water was reliable.
Hard to get a grab from the location as it's a bit remote, but it's also not remote where you feel isolated and away from civilisation - a peculiar middle ground.
Certain areas could definitely do with renovation, or some TLC, but it is well maintained generally - just starting to show some signs of age.

Pros:
Very beautiful area of the hotel
Spacious comfortable rooms and especially bathroom
Quite surrounding
Amazing personnel
Great buffet breakfast
Free laundry service
Cons-
Absolutely not recommend if you dont have a car. Taxis ( even the pre-ordered ones) refused to go there from center. Ordering a taxi to this location sometimes made us wait for 30+ minutes for anyone to agree to drive us ( with all three taxi apps). Tour buses will not come to this location, so youll need to get to a central point early in the morning with no taxis agreeing to it
The wall between the bathroom and the sleeping room had a weird hole with sliding door next to the mirror which seems unnecessary

It was spacious and sparkling clean.
Hot water and shower pressure. Water was coming out on and off without right mix of hot cold and water.
