Terrible Experience at Seawind
I was extremely disappointed. I did not like anything about my stay.
Everything. I booked a 2 bedroomed apartment that accommodates 6 people. I was asked to pay an additional 7000 pesos in cash. I was told it was because I didn't mention that I had guests. I only had my wife, wife's sister and our infant daughter. We were stopped at the security gate because the owner didn't want to give us the authorization later. She refused to speak to me and also lied that she couldn't speak English. She encouraged me to cancel my booking as a " no show" which meant I was not going to get my money back. She eventually allowed us in but booked us into tower 3 room 5G which wasn't what I selected. The owner was very unprofessional. She ignored our requests to come and fix the dishwasher that wasn't working. We ended having to buy a bucket to hand-wash our laundry. The Netflix channel only worked for one night and the owner never responded to our requests to restore the service.
What made it worse was that there was no option to get help from Booking.com. We were left at the mercy of the owner who literally made our stay a living hell. I wish Booking.com could look into this as a matter of urgency.
I stayed at Seawind before and the reason I came back was because I enjoyed my first stay but based on my recent stay....I am not coming back. I would definitely discourage anyone who intends staying at Seawind.
