We were there during off-season and the value for the price was extremely good. Really big, clean room. Close to the metro. We would definitely come again.
Just one small window going to the stairwell, so the room doesn't really get any daylight.
The staff was friendly, although sometimes a little pushy (knocking at the door at 10.30 p.m. to ask if we wanted to book a tour for the next day, putting on pressure to leave a good review).

Simply an excellent place. I initially booked it for 3 days, but after arriving and checking in, I immediately extended my stay - and I’m going to extend it again until the end of my time in Agra.
A spacious room, a large bed, nice bed linen, a beautiful lobby, cleanliness, comfort, air conditioning, everything works, nothing is broken - I could honestly keep listing this for hours.
And a separate 10/10 goes to the team. Great guys who are always ready to help with anything, explain everything clearly, and do it honestly, smoothly, and quickly.
Next time I’m in Agra, I’ll stay only here. There’s simply no point in looking for anything better - at this price, it just doesn’t exist.

Really happy with this stay! The hotel is in great condition overall — clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. But what truly made the difference was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, genuinely helpful, and went out of their way to solve any issue without hesitation. That kind of attitude is rare and makes a real difference. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Stayed at The Golden Bird in Agra with the family and honestly had a really lovely experience. It’s budget friendly, relaxed, family friendly, and just felt easy from the moment we arrived.
The staff were all genuinely kind and helpful, but Addie the manager really made the stay special. Such a lovely guy. Warm, welcoming, helpful with everything, and the sort of person that actually cares that you’re having a good time.
The hotel is also only around a 20 minute walk from the Taj Mahal which made things really convenient.
They arranged a guide for us as well which was surprisingly professional whilst still being very low cost compared to a lot of places around the Taj area.
If you want somewhere affordable, comfortable, and run by good people, I’d definitely recommend staying here.
