Merci à l'accueil empressé de Madame Brunette. Serviable et rapide, elle m'a installé quand j'ai réservé chez elle à la dernière minute. C'est sécurisant avoir quelqu'un sur place quand on voyage seul. La vue exceptionnelle sur la montagne, le parfum des fleurs, le chant des colibris, c'est vaste, très propre, tout équipé, la localisation à 30 secondes à pied du zoo, 1 minute de l'Anse Latouche, 5 min de l'Anse Turin (ma plage préférée du voyage), l'ambiance générale de la région du Nord, moins chaude et plus riche en offre touristique que le Sud à mon avis.
Seule petite chose, installer un rideau opaque et non translucide dans la chambre. Svp bien préciser l'adresse, le chauffeur de taxi de Fort-de-France ne connaissait pas bien l'endroit et il s'est un peu égaré (j'ai payé son kilométrage...). 2, route du Trou Caraïbe, dernier portail sur la gauche dans la forte montée.

Le logement est très bien situé entre Le Carbet et St Pierre, à 2 minutes de la plage...à pied bien entendu.
Il est d'une propreté parfaite.
Son équipement est complet.
L'accueil de sa propriétaire fut chaleureux.

Logement spacieux, propre et au calme (suffisamment loin de la route du bas !). Très bien situé vers l'entrée de St Pierre. Plage accessible à pied. Le zoo de Martinique est également juste à côté.
Bonne communication avec la propriétaire, très arrangeante et disponible, encore merci.
De simples rideaux dans la chambres et le jour qui se lève tôt dans les îles, donc penser à prendre un masque.

The apartment was really spacious and well-located. Close to the beach and the town centre. Great base for checking out local attractions. Dedicated parking space.
After reading reviews about difficulties in finding the apartment and the host being unresponsive, I contacted them via WhatsApp immediately after booking. I was given the contact details for the property manager.
Despite confirming our arrival and staying in touch regarding check-in, the lady was completely surprised by our arrival. By the way, the address and location provided on Booking are incorrect.
The apartment was not ready, and there was a total lack of English communication. Despite my attempts, the lady refused to use a translator app. After several phone calls to the property owner and a tense exchange of words, I was informed that the apartment would be prepared for us. It took over an hour—we were exhausted, sweaty, and hungry after a full day of trekking. To make matters worse, this was the only place where we were severely attacked by mosquitoes.
After a long wait, the apartment was only superficially cleaned, and the cleanliness was well below our expectations. There were tons of mosquitoes inside.
Basic amenities were missing, such as a kettle or a hairdryer. The cutlery and plates were of poor quality and not very clean. There were no coffee capsules for the machine either. On top of that, parked cars blocked the view of the bay from the windows.
Overall, our stay was a disappointment. During our three-week holiday in Martinique, this was the lowest-rated place we stayed in, and by no means the cheapest.
