Good location and comfortable bed.
I’m allergic to dogs. I added a booking note requesting a room that had not recently hosted a dog. I called ahead to make the same request. When I checked in, I clearly stated my allergy. I was told the hotel was overbooked and was made to feel I was lucky to get a room at all. I needed to use my emergency inhaler 3 times in less than 24 hours. No one was at the desk at night to assist with a room change, if it was even possible due to overbooking. The smell of wet dog was awful. The carpet was so wet it ruined two pairs of socks: they were yellowed and smelled like urine. When checking out, reception offered to let the manager know. He called a few moments later. I know that because she said it was him calling. I waited while she spoke to him about her schedule, testing at school and other points, but never mentioned the issue I’d had. She hung up, gave me my receipt and said he would call probably on Monday.

I have stayed at My Place twice in the past year. The suites are large and well-appointed, featuring full-sized refrigerators, stove tops, microwaves, and sinks as well as lots of cabinet space in the kitchen. There are recliners (unique to My Place, in my experience), desks and chairs that make business needs conveniently catered for, comfortable beds, and large bathrooms. Heating/cooling is easily set to the guest's preference. Both suites were clean and comfortable. Parking and wifi are free.
There was nothing that I didn't like. My Place is perfect for an overnight stay mid-journey.

I did not stay here. It is an extended stay property with peoples personal belongings everywhere!!
Stack of totes and other items that belonged to someone staying there were outside and in the lobby. Weird vibes. Clientele seemed sketchy and as a solo female traveler, I elected to seek new accommodations.
