Excellent value for money considering what I received. The place was spotless, neat, well maintained, and completely free of humidity. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming - you feel less like a guest and more like part of the household, which I truly appreciated.
It’s not located directly by the rice fields, but everything is still conveniently close. For this price, it was absolutely worth it.
I was also given a lovely handmade turtle by the owner, who creates these figures as part of his craft - a thoughtful and personal gift. It was special to be part of this place, even just for a short moment. What was meant to be a simple stay turned into something much more memorable.
I’ll definitely come back.
The location itself is actually very good. You do need to walk or ride a short distance to reach the main spots in Ubud, but as I mentioned before, for this price it’s absolutely reasonable. Gojek rides are inexpensive, so getting around is not a problem.

Apollo Homestay is definitely my favorite place to stay in Bali! Everything is clean and comfortable. You have a nice little balcony to eat and relax. There’s a place to refill water & a nice fridge with a place to cook/clean.
Aside from that it was great to stay with such a loving family! Thank you so much for showing me Galungan and the Balinese culture. 🥰🙏
