Stunning location right on the water, the cutest and cleanest house with everything you need, easily sleeps 4 but we had it for 2 of us. Comfy bed too!
My husband was even able to fish from the jetty although he didn’t have much luck! It is the epitome of peace and tranquility as you stare out on the water and watch all the beautiful birds gliding by. We feel very lucky to have stayed there.
Big thanks to Ammu who was so helpful and even ordered us food for delivery in the evening (as we had no fish!!). The curry was delicious.
I absolutely 100% recommend this wonderful lakeside retreat.
We loved everything and only wish we could have stayed longer.

We’ve really enjoyed our stay at the villa — it felt amazing to finally relax after our time in Mumbai. Everything was wonderful, from the food to the professional service. We truly felt like royalty. This villa is absolutely magical. And big thanks to our caretaker Akhil for wonderful service.

The property is located in a beautiful spot right on the Ashtamudi backwaters. There are plenty of seating areas for relaxing by just looking at the serene lake. The bedrooms and bed linen were amazingly clean. The beds were quite comfortable. Water bottles were provided complimentary
Cleanliness & hygiene was not maintained in most areas of the house. The kitchen itself was extremely dirty with grime and oil sticking on the utensils - we had to wash all of them before using. The fridge was unusable the moment we opened it, with leftovers and food waste all piled up. It appeared as if the fridge was not cleaned for at least 6 months. The floors of most of the rooms had dark spots which meant they were not cleaned properly. Multiple foot mats in the kitchen were dirty. The sides of the property also had waste piled up. When we shared with the Property manager the kitchen cleanliness was promptly taken care of and we are thankful for this. We feel he property manager was very effective and prompt.
