A great place to stay on the Kumano Kodo. The staff, room, meals and facilities are excellent.

Close to the finish of Kumano Kodo and falls (not many more options this close). Food was terrific and staff enthusiastic and welcoming. Onsen was nice, no private baths and only one toilet on the sleeping level
Pricey for facilities but a nice experience

Great location near the shrine. Food was incredible and the staff were so kind and helpful. Onsen was perfect to relax in after a day of hiking.
Bathroom and shower facilities were just okay. They were tight and there’s no privacy showering.

Very traditional Japanese hotel
Paid extra for a view of the waterfall which was obscured by overgrown bamboo
