The location was great. Very nice view. The house was clean inside. Full kitchen which was great. Also has a smart TV.
It is not the easiest to get to the property. The normal way to get in was very wet and couldn't be accessed due to the rain. However the hosts did provide alternative way to get to the property. But the drive way was very steep and when wet. Depend on what sort of car you have. Can be a challenge to get back up the drive. We ended up parking the car on the top so we don't get stuck. The spa pool was neither clean or working when we arrived. We helped the host to empty, clean and refill the spa which wasn't part of our holiday plan. The spa didn't get fixed until the day before we left. Which was very disappointing as it was one of the main reason we booked it as we wanted to relax. We asked to be compensated for a major amenity not being available for most of our stay and especially for the price that we paid but we were very surprised that we were completely ignored despite us making contact several times.

Nothing - everything was actually perfect. If I had to make a suggestion it would be some lower profile pillow options. I'm picky about that hahah

Definitely need a 4WD as the driveway is treacherous. It was sold as being isolated in the country. Road and other houses in front, owners only metres behind, although they left us to it. Still lovely, just not as the pictures imply that you’re on your own with sheep. It’s also a transportable on wheels..so be aware to think there’s an earthquake every time someone moves. Definitely need to confirm the drainage/pipes have been sorted before staying. Having to go out and bang a pipe under the cabin every time you want to shower or flush the loo was disappointing, 10pm in the dark banging a pipe takes the shine out of it... When charging the same as the Hilton, it was disappointing, when we only go away every couple of years and expected more for the money, it was hard not to be- having to drive off to a public loo, without a shower in the morning. Once septic tanks sorted it will be lovely, but still don’t think it’s worth the money in our view.
