Axel and Laurette are fantastic hosts! They are both very friendly and speak English well. Axel met us upon arrival and showed us around the property. Everything was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. There is a shared kitchen area that looked very nice, although we didn't use it. It is very, very quiet at night. Axel told us you could hear a pen drop, and he was right! The property is in a very rural area, so don't expect city amenities. That was perfect for us, and we liked that it was still conveniently located near Trier. We booked two rooms for our family of four, and each room had twin beds. We appreciated having a full set of towels, including a washcloth, for each person. I especially loved the little touches, such as the sachet of lavender and jar of pine shavings to smell in each room, as well as the thoughtful gift of dates and tea. It was also nice to have a coffee station in each room. There seem to be several options for hiking and walking nearby. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality and thoughtful touches.

The rooms are small and fairly simple, but that wasn’t an issue for us since we were only staying one night. Two of the other guests were talking and smoking on the shared patio, which made it a little loud with the windows open (consider making the smoking area farther from the rooms). However, Axel was very good about enforcing the quiet hours, which we appreciated. We did have some trouble with the Wi-Fi, but the hosts were very helpful in getting us connected and are already working on changing providers. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Kamer en badkamer zijn heel schoon. Zo ook de keuken waar je gebruik van kunt maken. De omgeving is heel rustig. Thee en koffie te zetten op je kamer. Toilet wordt doorgespoeld met regenwater.

Ik vond het wat vreemd dat de bedden niet tegen elkaar staan in een tweepersoonskamer. Allemaal vreemde smaken thee. Goed om er ook een neutrale smaak bij te leggen; niet iedereen houdt van alternatieve yogi smaakjes. Ondanks het duurzame beeld dat uitgedragen wordt, krijg je op de kamer 1 dadel in een piepklein plastic zakje, daar zou ik dan zelf iets anders op verzinnen. Foto's op Booking zitten tussen 😐en😊in.

Super schönes Anwesen, alles da, was man braucht (TV gab es nicht und brauche ich nicht), super eingerichtete Gemeinschaftsküche. Ausserdem eine sehr sympathische und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Die Landschaft war auch schön!

Bedden waren niet comfortabel. Douche gelegenheid verdieping hoger.
