Horrendous Hosts, Awful Experience, False Advertising, Would Rate Zero if Possible.

The state of the accommodation was shocking. The toilet bowl was broken, the door locking mechanisms were faulty, and the property appeared tired & poorly maintained. Every issue was dismissed as being the subject of an "insurance claim" with no indication of when any repairs would be carried out. In addition, the entry to and egress from the parking area presented a significant safety hazard as a medium car could not manoeuvre - meaning that at some stage you would have to reverse into heavy traffic. Due to these concerns, my wife and I had to adjust our movements at ungodly hours in preparation to leave safely later that day into a busy arterial route. I raised these concerns with the owner and requested that our booking be cancelled. He flatly refused and instead suggested that my driving skills were inferior to those of even "the elderly." As the safety of my wife and myself comes first, I advised him that we would nevertheless be vacating the premises. We informed his manager that we were leaving and followed his direct instructions, as neither the owner nor the manager made themselves available. Despite being fully aware that we had vacated the premises immediately, the owner later sent a sarcastic message asking, "Did you enjoy your stay?" He tried to claim that the accommodation fee of nine days was required to cover the cleaning costs of a single night arranged and paid for separately. As mentioned by another reviewer, the parking is shared, and the photo provided of the parking area is misleading. We will see if the owner is brave enough to include an aerial photo of the parking in the description of his property to avoid further complaints with regard to parking. It is most unfortunate that, as a seasoned international traveller and generally enjoying the accommodation found on Booking.

A comfortable, peaceful stay in a spacious property with great views and a convenient location.

The property was very nice and spacious, with beautiful views. I also liked the location as it was close to Cavendish Mall, which made everything very convenient.
