Not worth the price

The location was good, not bad connected to the city centre

A lot of stairs and no lift(fair enough they didn't say anything about having a lift but they didn't even mention it was on the 5th floor), the flat was not very clean(a lot of cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the windows were full of dust and the terrace, supposedly the main selling point of the flat, was horribly maintained: dirt, dead plants and the barbecue was rusty and dirty). They didn't tell us anything about the mechanic blinds in the living room and in the bedroom being broken(the one in the living room was stuck half way and the one in the bedroom was impossible to open). Signs of dirt on the walls(like dead bugs) around the house. The sofa was not in the best conditions, parts of the skirting board were detached from the wall. Personal items(maybe from the hosts?) found around the flat. We also had to wash some kitchen tools before using them because they were not clean. It would have been a nice touch, at least, to put one(just one!) toilet paper roll in the bathroom but...not even that. Not worth the price.

Extremely unpleasant experience

The location was absolutely central, which made it easy for us to get around and enjoy the city without much hassle. We also appreciated the presence of a terrace — a lovely bonus during summer evenings. The towels were clean and fresh, which we truly valued.

Unfortunately, our overall experience was significantly overshadowed by the lack of cleanliness and attention to basic hygiene. From the moment we walked in, we noticed it was extremely dusty, with surfaces visibly neglected. The central bedroom had a window that didn’t open at all, making proper ventilation very difficult — which, especially during the warmer nights, was far from ideal. We woke up with multiple bites on our legs, and while it’s hard to say whether they were from bedbugs or mosquitoes, the open access from the bathroom made the latter very likely. Either way, it was distressing and unhygienic. The bedsheets were stained and did not look freshly washed. In the bathroom, mold was present around the shower and walls, and it ended up triggering a mild allergic reaction for my daughter — not to mention it was a source of continuous discomfort throughout our stay. Even more puzzling was the presence of a picnic-style basket in the bathroom, which was completely out of place and absolutely filthy. The toilet didn’t flush properly, and the shower had a musty smell and visible mold. The fridge was unclean and unsuitable for storing anything. We didn’t even consider cooking — the kitchen felt so neglected and dirty that it made us uncomfortable just being in it. Lighting throughout the apartment was minimal, adding to the overall gloominess of the space. The air conditioning unit was dusty and hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, raising concerns about air quality. The couch was in terrible shape — its surface was peeling off, and an entire square meter had been patched up with scotch tape, which was both unprofessional and unpleasant to see. Overall, the apartment was dusty, worn out, and unmaintained across large areas. While we tried to make the most of our trip, the conditions of the apartment made that genuinely challenging.
