Reached the lodge and was told that they were fully booked. I showed them my booking confirmation and argued that they shouldn't have had the room available if they were fully booked. The manager, surprisingly was even sleeping in one of the rooms, is this normal? Anyway, never booking to stay at this place again, I was left stranded and had to try to find another place.

I did not have breakfast. In very difficult circumstances where there is power cuts of days sometimes, the management work continually to ensure that power was available most of the time for guests. I will recommend Dover Lodge as a good place to stay, clean, friendly staff and great value for money.
