Such a cute place to stay. Lovely neighbourhood. Beautifully presented and well equipped. Very close to blenheim palace and Oxford. Gorgeous local pub a 10 min walk away.

The Little Fern is a lovely place. Lots of love and thoughts were put into it making it a comfortable home for a few nights.

I like the decor. It was very nice. Very clean! It was great to have a parking space right outside. I chose the location because it was easy to get to the Park and Ride for Oxford Brookes, where I was doing a course, and I could prepare my own packed lunches and evening meal. It was a nice retreat at the end of a tough day.
It was cold. The heating is controlled from the house next door. I was worried I would become too hot if I asked for it to be switched on. Guests should be able to control the temperature.
I didn't have the most restful sleep. The smoke alarm has a very bright light that flashes every minute or so. I couldn't sleep and had to use the headband I use when washing my face as a sleep mask. I removed the battery from the wall clock too, because of the annoying ticking noise. I was glad I brought ear plugs, because there was noise from the fridge, and the plumbing next door.
The kitchen is furnished with odds and ends of cheap cutlery and utensils, which seemed odd considering the attention to detail elsewhere. There is nowhere to sit and eat your food.
The shower screen is not adequate to stop the water from forming a puddle on the bathroom floor.
The hosts were audibly at home when I arrived, but didn't pop out to greet me. I found that strange, given their proximity.
