A little paradise close to Gent City Centre.
We were greeted by Saskia (the owner) - she is really very nice and welcoming. Showed us around. The apartment is in the back of the building - the view from the apartment is a lovely private garden area with seating and beautiful trees.
The apartment itself is spacious - large enough for 2. Very thoughtful 'gifts' like cuberdons, chocolates, drinks in the fridge. Coffeemaker is a nespresso. There is tea and coffee and soup. Small but practical kitchen. Beautiful decorations all around the apartment. The bed is large and very good quality - very comfy. Highly recommend this apartment.
Walking distance to city centre approx 15mins (to the castle)
Just FYI - parking on the street is very expensive as Saskia will also tell you. There is a good parking garage within 7min walking distance. Not expensive at all. You can park outside the apartment to leave your luggage etc (free of charge for 20 minutes)

Zalig rustig, comfortabel en ruim met een leuk tuintje.
Er kunnen fietsen gehuurd worden, zeker een plus.
Wandelen naar centrum Gent kan ook.

De rust en reinheid van de accommodatie was top. Saskia is een hele fijne gastvrouw en ontving ons aller hartelijkst en leidde ons rond. De kamer was erg ruim, schoon en meer dan compleet. Binnen 15 minuten wandel je het centrum in. Sla de koffiekoeken van Marijn Coertjens vooral niet over (ontbijtsuggestie). Kies er 2/3/4 en opeten in het parkje in de zon, beste tip.
Niks, het was echt top.

Ontzettend gastvrij ontvangst van de gastvrouw. Prachtig, compleet en met veel liefde ingericht. Een absolute aanrader!
Het enige wat ik kan bedenken is een passpiegel. Verder echt alleen maar lof.
