Icheon Skysun Hotel

I was scared to book this hotel since the rooms looked very minimalist and reviews about the mechanical parking stated it was slow and annoying to use. I was wrong and my stay was great. The rooms were small but very comfortable. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. At checkin, room cleanup was only supposed to be every 3 days but they cleaned my room everyday during my 2 week stay. Each day they give you 2 water bottles. If you're lucky, your room window can have a nice view, but mine was facing the next door building. There is only one electrical outlet in the room, but it was ok since there are 2 USB A outlets too, so I can charge my computer and 2 more smaller devices. Note that the outlets are by the bed and not by the desk. The rooms come with a clothes washing machine and a clothes steamer, but no dryer. The steamer can blow air to dry clothes but it takes a very long time to dry just 4 prices of clothing. I opted to go downstairs to the laundry store across the street where they had washers and dryers. The breakfast was great, coffee was good, food was enough with salads, fruit, American style eggs and bacon, and a special Korean dish of the day. At night, the eating area turns into a bar with a free welcome beer every day you are staying and they also have small snacks like French fries. The ambiance is great and lofi music playing but it was very empty so I hope more people go. The mechanical parking was scary at first but i ended up loving it. There is a man who works the mechanical parking system in the evening. He will guide you onto the turntable and tell you how to drive onto the platform. I didn't know Korean but it's pretty intuitive. Just keep pulling in until the digital sign says OK, feels too close but keep going in slowly. In the morning, give the front desk the last four numbers of your license plate (show them rental car key) and they will go get your car delivered on the platform. You just reverse out.

More electrical plus in room, just 1 more by the desk. The clothes steamer was missing from my room, so I could not use washing machine in room.

Clean and in a nice area. Conveniently located!
