The location was great for being located next to the paid parking lot on Ortigia. Was about a 7 min walk from the apartment. The access with the key box is very easy and you receive all that information before checking in. Shower was good and the bed was comfortable. The apartment was very clean and has good air-conditioning and wifi. It was very easy for us to walk around from our base.
not the fault of the apartment but we thought the access to the beach would be closer but I think the storm last year affected the stairs down to the water that is close by and so it was a much longer walk to water than expected. There was occasionally a sewer smell from the street through bathroom window but that is expected with older towns. Would be great to have beach towels.

Location great for the old city and also could swim right out the front of the apartment, lovely garden area to sit and relax. Clean and good communication with owner.

The location was perfect for exploring both Ortigia and Syracuse on foot. Sunrises were gorgeous. The apartment was functional- we used the kitchen to cook - stocked with cutlery dishes and a few supplies to get us started. Very safe and lovely courtyard area. Air conditioner worked well. Loved the open kitchen window. Sat and had coffee there most mornings.

The shared entrance was beautiful arranged. The location was somehow convenient for us.
The smell of mold was to overpowering , you could smell it more from the bathroom. The only available window could not be opened wildly for fresh air because of the location in front of the main road .
