The unit is on a canal and has an outdoor patio. The area across the canal is industrial and the canal has large boats on it. The end of the canal is not far away, so there was not much boat traffic, and we were not disturbed by them. We appreciated the coffee and tea that were provided, as well as other little comforts. The town of Papendrecht has several grocery stores and other convenience stores. Parking is easy. The owner is friendly.
The bridge from Papendrecht to Dordrecht was closed due to construction, but the ride to Dordrecht in our car was only about 15 minutes long.
