It was central for the Great South Run, with good transport links and for us within walking distance (2.5 miles to GunWharf quays). A busy street but it didn’t bother us.
It has been finished to a high standard but just needs some general maintenance to keep it that way ( paintwork, broken drawer in kitchen, door in bathroom and no plug in sink, and heating system not functioning properly) . Our host was very helpful and responsive and could not be faulted

Spacious victorian style house. Large rooms with comfy beds. Recliner sofa was lovely to relax on. Ample storage space for clothes, the furniture was lovely. Parking wasn't an issue there was always the allocated space infront of the garages. Area noise as to be expected in a residential street but not a problem. Master bedroom and living area had lovely blinds and lamps. Made it chic but homely.
Unfortunately we didn't cook at the property as the oven, grill and microwave were really quite dirty. Good cleanliness throughout the house but appliances need attention including the kitchen sink. Only negative
