Very close to the port and car hire next door with free parking
When we first checked in the room we were given was very dated with an incredibly creaky and uncomfortable bed, broken door lock and a bathroom that had no shower screen which as a result every time the shower was used, the entire bathroom, including the toilet area would flood.
We went to reception to request a room change, but were initially advised that no other rooms were available. After quite a bit of back and forth, we were eventually moved to another room, which was significantly better and made the remaining four nights of our stay much more enjoyable.
One thing to note is that you will definitely need a car if staying here. Fortunately, the car hire company located next door offers very competitive rates and free parking, which was a real convenience.
