Location was as expected. In September, Lierna is a quiet village, but you are steps away from the train to Varenna which is very regular, reliable and 11 minutes away. Ferry is not so regular here. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable beds, lovely towels and plenty of them. Shower gel and toilet paper plentiful too. Kitchen appears brand new! nice view form the wee balcony. Aircon in bedroom was so good! Nice bed.
A couple more condiments and some water would have been appreciated. There was salt, 2 coffee pods and about 3 or 4 teabags, we were there for almost 6 days. Surely people before leave olive oil and such? For the mobility conscious, the spiral staircase to bedroom must be considered as it is quite narrow, and although we knew that on booking, it was a little difficult to navigate for the first few days. Overall, recommend. Zero flexibility for leaving our case in before check in.

I loved this little village. Cute colourful buildings, very close to the lake to swim, a delicious gelati place, only 9 mins by train to Varenna which is a great jumping off point for the ferries to other villages. A spacious apartment with everything you could need.
The only thing I couldn't get right was the temperature in the shower. It required constant changing because it went from hot to cold so quickly.

L’appartamento era ben strutturato, pulito, carino. Cucina tenuta benissimo, staff accogliente, vista dal balcone molto carina.
Potevano esserci altri utensili da cucina (per esempio le pattine) o cose fondamentali per cucinare (per esempio l’olio).
