Great location with great village facilities. Great pubs, village shop and superb cafe.Comfortable accommodation even if a few challenges that go with an older property.
Unfortunately there were a couple of issues with the downstairs toilet one of which the owner arranged to be rectified while we were there. The other I personally try to sort when the sink and downstairs toilet became badly blocked as I did not think it was appropriate for the Plummer to be called out again.

The location of the cottage was perfect, a village with shop and 2 pubs in walking distance. Beautiful little garden, absolutely perfect for our dog and sitting out for meals. The cottage is lovely, very characterful and cosy. Bull dog cottage makes a great base to explore the western part of the North York moors.

Location is perfect, 2 pubs within walking distance, local tea rooms with delicious cakes, post office/general store also within walking distance. Cottage has a lovely garden, great for dogs.
We couldnt get the heating to work - but this may have been us! we could of contacted the owners as they left contact details, but we lit a fire instead. It didnt spoil out stay.
