The facility itself was as good as we have ever experienced. The host exhibited great attention to detail and the decorating in particular was excellent. Our stay was very comfortable.
Our only reservation in recommending the property is grounded in the particular reason that we originally chose the location. If a guest has access to an automobile, or is not traveling to or from the airport, or is willing, as we did, to figure out a work-around using the train, or doesn't care about paying the transfer fee, then we highly recommend the property. The problem is that it is our practice to be very near the airport when preparing to leave. This property is literally within sight of the airport. However, the transfer (taxi) services are apparently tariffed and leaving the airport is a flat 50 Euros and going to the airport is a flat 40 Euros. Although there is a train station less than 500 meters away that has a stop at the airport, it was very difficult to purchase a ticket. The two train company apps indicated that the ticket could not be purchased at all and even the kiosk at the station would only sell round-trip tickets for later in the morning than needed. We finally purchased tickets using a commonly used private reservation service which has a name which begins with the letter "O". If a guest has to get from the airport at the beginning of a trip or to the airport at the end of a trip, then he or she should make certain that there is a specific plan acceptable to the guest for airport transfer. In our case, staying in Rome near the Termini station and using the frequent non-stop trains would have worked as well for a similar cost, without the time spent on arranging transport from the property to the airport on a regional train.
