It’s a beautiful property in the suburbs but still close to everything. It is very quiet even with two friendly dogs (Susan kindly keeps both Diana & Dali in at night so any barking is from other dogs).
Everything one needs is provided. Susan goes above and beyond what most vacation rentals provide to make the stay quite comfortable and cozy. We only wish we’d had time to use the pool, bbq area and to make a nice crackling fire.
In addition, the kitchen is very usable and she has pretty much everything one might need on hand.
She’s also very accommodating, accessible and kind but not intrusive. She allows all the privacy one needs and it feels like no one else is there even when she is home.
It’s a bit of a pain to go in and out of the gate especially with the dogs as one really likes to go out. But… that gate does make one feel very secure and safe as it’s next to a busy street. So it just takes some getting used to and to plan the day well.
It’s also important to know that both bathrooms are upstairs. So if mobility is an issue it might be a challenge.
