What a lovely hotel and restaurant. When we arrived we liked it so much we decided to extend our stay from 2 nights to 3. The staff are what make the place, the lovely man who spoke good English and the lovely blonde hair lady with glasses, we didn’t get her name as she didn’t speak English but it didn’t matter as she was so lovely and so efficient. The restaurant food is fantastic and we had the option of going next door to the Palace but personally I preferred the atmosphere of this hotel and restaurant. Breakfast was great, wide choice of foods and with a beautiful view of the lake. Lillafured is tiny and is mainly about this hotel, the Palace hotel and the gardens but the short train ride to Garadna, the Ana cave is worth a visit and the waterfall. The watch tower that you can see opposite the hotel is also worth the walk the views are spectacular. The free soft drinks in the mini bar was very welcomed.

We had a relaxing stay in this beautiful little hotel. Good food, amazing views and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it.

The location is excellent. The area is amazing surrounded by forest, view to the lake. Nice and peaceful. The food was very delicious in the restaurant and quite cheap. There was wide selection breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the lady with blond hair served our dinner. If I remember well, her name was Erzsébet.
The only thing that was a bit annoying was the AC. It was a bit chilly night and switched it on, and it was a bit loud, even in quiet mode. And one more thing, there is no grocery shop nearby.
