The apartment is amazing. Fully furnished and located exactly in the old town . There is a parking for the car 500mt away but really easy to reach. Host was super friendly and helped us to carry our luggages up to the stairs
A bit noisy street, but It's a central street full of restaurant, so people are around until late night. Closing the window drastically reduced the noise and we could sleep perfectly.

Location and lovely room.
The apartment is lovely, clean and modern. Communication to pick up key and get in was good.
However, the host doesn’t have a clue about running an establishment. We stayed 5 days and had no fresh towels, toilet rolls or cleaning. This was a first for me in Greece, in fact, a first for me ever.
Incidentally, the noise on a Saturday night was unbearable and went on until the very early hours but on the other days, it was fine and no problem.
On the positive, the restaurant downstairs was good, the staff very pleasant and helpful.
So, would I stay here again? Sadly no. The only real problem was the host. We never met but clearly they were uninterested; just not committed to the task of running the place. At the end of five nights we were living in a room, with bins overflowing; sand everywhere; dirty towels (we had one each) and it was miserable. For the money, there are lots of other places in Rethymno to stay. I really hope the host learns to do their job properly. Incidentally, having received my complaints, the host dropped in 2 fresh towels on the last night. But no toilet roll.
