Friendly, helpful host in the main building. Everything we needed was there. Quiet, peaceful area a bit outside of Trysil. More space and comfort than expected! Sitting area outside.
Since other reviewers mentioned the toilet: It worked fine for us.
For some folks it might be a bit tricky to climb up to the loft, although the beds there are very comfy.

Cute little house with an (electric) fireplace for additional coziness.
Good heating system provided warmth despite it being freezing outside.
Friendly hosts who were understanding about our late night arrival and helpful with warnings about the very icy roads.
Comfortable mattresses in the little nook under the roof.
The cabin has an incineration toilet and clear instructions are provided.
Even following the instructions with care it doesn't always work as intended and the bag can get caught in the chute or there is spillage.
When cleaning that up we noticed that apparently we weren't the first ones with this unfortunate problem.
