Propreté, gentillesse de l'hôte disponible et accueillante, très bonne situation géographique, qualité du logement, les équipements du logement sont complets et de qualité, l'espace extérieur. l'espace à vivre très agréable. Parking avec beaucoup de place, la literie est également de bonne qualité
La couette du lit double un peu juste en largeur mais c'est un détail.

De accommodatie (gîte) is uitstekend: pas één jaar oud, zeer comfortabel en voorzien van diverse faciliteiten waaronder airco's in de huiskamer en de twee slaapkamers. De parkeerplaats is groot en de tuin is met een hek omheind. Een schuifpui geeft toegang tot de tuin. Gastvrouw Lola is vriendelijk en spreekt een beetje Engels. Duinkerken en Ieper liggen op ca. 30 km afstand, een half uurtje met de auto. Het oude stadje Kassel ligt vlakbij en is het waard om te bezoeken.
Een klein minpuntje vonden wij dat de badkamer op de benedenverdieping is gesitueerd. Oppassen bij het aanrijden en het vertrek: de accommodatie ligt in een S-bocht op een helling.

The property looked (and felt) like it was brand new - everything super clean and shiny. We communicated over WhatsApp and were met by the host who gave us a tour round and answered any questions. There's ample off road parking and plenty of room for outdoor dining or just chilling out. There's two bedrooms upstairs and both can be configured as twin or double rooms (just ask), with a double sofa-bed in the lounge. As a family of 5 with 3 adult children there was plenty of room for all of us, for eating, sleeping or just socialising. (There's a boule pitch in the garden and equipment in the cupboard in the toilet which was fun one evening).
In terms of location, it's a bit out of the way so you'll need a car - location was perfect for us - we were visiting Bellewaerde theme park (about 40 mins away) with a lovely village (Steenvoorde) along the route which was ideal to pick up supplies.
We had a small problem with the shower during our stay, but the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. We contacted them on Sunday morning and within 15 minutes our host arrived to resolve the problem. It was fixed whilst we were out and we returned to beer and snacks for the inconvenience - really not necessary but very welcome.
If we are in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to book here again - the property was perfect for our needs and the hosts friendly, helpful and attentive.
