The location is central and the bed and bathrooms are clean.
1. During the booking process I already wrote that I would like a bottom bunk that's in a quieter corner. Then on the day I was assigned a top bunk right in front of the door, and that all other beds were assigned already. So either all other people made a similar request before me, or they didn't care about my request at all.
2. There were no hair dryers in the shower rooms. I know it's not uncommon in hostels, but are we supposed to bring our own?

Location was very nice & also seems hard to find hostel with the Pod& the privacy curtain.
The pod next to mine seemed to have an unpleasant odor, as if the person had not showered for quite a long time, and I could clearly smell it.
The bathroom and toilet also smelled strongly of urine. There was no soap or toilet paper available, which made me wonder how guests were supposed to wash their hands after using the toilet. Unfortunately, some guests also did not seem to care about keeping the shared facilities clean.
I believe the bathrooms should be cleaned and maintained at least twice a day to ensure proper hygiene, especially in a shared accommodation.
The storage space was also inadequate, so people’s belongings were scattered everywhere, making the area feel very messy and uncomfortable.
I can easily compare this experience with other hostels in Amsterdam where I stayed afterwards, and the difference was huge. Considering the price I paid, the quality and cleanliness of this hostel were simply not worth the money. I expected much better standards for the price.
