Great place

It was convenient to the train station. The neighborhood was safe, had plenty of restaurants nearby, had a small grocery store half a block away, and we had no trouble walking to the center, galleria and Duomo even though the metro was close.

Great location, wonderful host

The location of the apartment is probably it's best quality. It's located 10-15 minutes from Milan's Central Train Station, and about 20-30 minutes from the centre. We greatly appreciated the host's responsiveness and support. Nadia was very VERY helpful before, during and after our stay. Among other things, she agreed to an early check-in AND a late check-out - all free of charge. Nadia might be the most supportive and helpful host I have ever dealt with via Booking.com. The apartment was clean and had all the necessary facilities and equipment, including air conditioning in both rooms, iron + ironing board, hair dryer, espresso machine with capsules, etc. We did find 4 capsules ready for us, and we used them, because it took a while for us to get to the nearby shop to buy some. Within 50 meters there is a Carrefour Express, a cafe / pastry shop (perfect for breakfast), and a Taiwanese restaurant. Quite close there is a shop that was open late (at 10, when we got home from the center, and needed bottled water or toilet paper). Be advised that the apartment is located at the basement of the building. The bedroom windows open towards the street, and the living-room windows open towards an interior courtyard. The blinds in both rooms did their job, but they were not easy to handle. We preferred to leave them on all the time, as we did not spend time in the apartment during the day. The beds and the pillows were not perfect, but we slept ok and we got enough rest every night.

The sofabed in the living room sometimes seemed to be close to falling apart, and was rather noisy. But our daughter who used it was satisfied, and she slept very well every night. But she says she can sleep anywhere, so if you're sensitive about this kind of thing, be advised.
