Emplacement parfait pour visiter le sud de Madeire, parking facile, arrivée simple. Vue magnifique sur la mer, terrasse agréable. Logement très propre, très bien équipé. Lit confortable, machine a laver très pratique. Calme et frais même sans climatisation.
Un peu de bruit de voitures le matin, quand la fenêtre est ouverte.

A great location for those who want to explore and hike in the western part of the island. The house itself is located up from Porto do Sol on the ER 222 road in Canhas. A very good logistical location to quickly reach the hiking trails in the surrounding area or down to Porto do Sol or Ribeira Brava. 40 minutes to the airport. The spacious two-room apartment with absolutely all amenities, including a kitchen and terraces, was clean and equipped with everything you need.
We felt at home. The property also included a large garage. Great. Without it, we would not have made this booking. The house is located in the middle of Canha on the side of a mountain with views down to the village and the ocean in the distance. The views of the mountain slopes in the glow of fire in the evening are especially beautiful.
Keep in mind, that this is not the hazy surroundings of the Lido promenade accommodation, but a place where people live every day, where potatoes and other vegetables grow in front of the house, where the attitude to life is simple and natural. Anyway, we liked this place.
Very friendly reception. Although the directions sent by the hostess Maria Teresa did not reach us, we found the place without any problems, as this was not our first time in the area.
Even though one didn't speak Portuguese and the other didn't speak English, we managed perfectly . Very good quality-price ratio. We recommend.
