Great location. Had everything we needed for a short stay
We would have liked somewhere to sit outside and also the shower room was very small. However we understood this from the details before booking and accept the limitations of a property in Padstow town. Location was our top priority and this property suited our requirements

The property is in a fantastic location in Padstow. The kitchen has everything you need for a few days stay. The WiFi didn’t work for the majority of our stay but this was sorted by the end and the owner offered us a discount due to this which was good of him.
Unfortunately the property didn’t appear very clean. Within minutes of walking around the living area and kitchen, our feet were black on the bottom. I reported this to the owner who said this isn’t in line with their usual standards of cleanliness, but nothing was done about it. The cottage also needs some serious updating - it is really dated other than the shower cubicle. There was mould on the bedroom blinds and a filthy extractor fan, both of which we had read a review about from two years before and clearly nothing has been done about either. The beds were not very comfortable at all (I had to sleep on top of the duvet as the mattress was so hard and lumpy). I am sure people will continue to come and pay, because the location is so good, but the property needs some serious attention.
