Tolle Lage inmitten der Natur, hochwertige Einrichtung, der wenige Platz wird wirklich gut genutzt, bequeme Betten, mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien, der Vermieter antwortet schnell und ist hilfsbereit und zuletzt war natürlich der Whirlpool wirklich klasse

we loved the lodge! the layout, everything we needed was to hand indoors. Despite windy rainy weather the hot tub was always on ready all we had to do was step in! and enjoy amazing 180° views

We recently stayed at the Stargaze Lodge for 4 nights (2 guests) and, unfortunately, left feeling quite disappointed. While the lodge has potential, the lack of preparation and inaccurate listing information really impacted our trip.
Stingy Amenities: We were only provided with 1 toilet roll for a 4-night stay for 2 people. Because the lodge is remote, you absolutely need a car to get anywhere to buy basic extra supplies. There were also zero basic bathroom amenities provided.
Zero Storage Space: There is absolutely no storage space inside-no shelves, no cupboards, not even a shelf in the bathroom. With two people's bags, the space felt incredibly crowded very quickly.
Hot Tub & Coffee Machine Issues: The hot tub was left on a lower temperature setting than described in the guest book, making it feel chilly. The owners later agreed a previous guest must have changed it, but because the controls are behind a panel, it's not easily accessible for guests to fix. Additionally, the coffee pod machine desperately needed descaling and didn't work at all. We tried to look up how to fix it manually but gave up and luckily had brought our own coffee grounds to brew. Both of these issues should have been easily caught by the cleaners/owners before we checked in.
Non-Existent Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was extremely patchy to the point where even basic emails wouldn't load, forcing us to use our own mobile data for most of the trip. While the owners did offer a workaround by providing a mobile phone to use as a hotspot, by the time it was offered, we were already out on day trips most of the time.
Fluctuating Temperatures & Minor Mould: The lodge's climate control is difficult to manage. It was freezing when we arrived, but on warmer days it heats up incredibly fast and gets very stuffy. We also noticed some minor mould starting to grow in the bathroom - it's tiny for now, but needs addressing.
